The only solution I can offer is that if the character is continually stuck on left, then quickly click left arrow, he should stop running immediately. Same applies for right, down, up- you have to click the arrow that goes in the direction he's running, as opposed to against him. So if he's stuck on up, then don't click down, right or left (which is what I was doing & I'd be stuck for 10 minutes+), you'd just need to tap on up. Go with the grain! Hope this helps. In any case...good game so far. Just adding: If ur character is walking too slowly, it means you have too much in your inventory (carrying 2 much). Use a scroll to go home & sell stuff or compose other items, or you can just drop items.

I'll start to move in one direction and the character will move just fine. Then, randomly, the character will just keep moving in that direction, no matter what I push (they sometimes decide to stop).

For some reason, my character kept running in the same direction after I had taken my fingers off of the buttons. i had to press them again in order to get him to stop running. And it wouldn't happen every time, but it happened often enough to irritate me. The graphics make up for it though!
