Great game! I really liked the choice-consequence feature of this game as your actions actually have an impact on the storyline and you discover something new each time you play, I'm currently replaying it and enjoying it as much as I did the first time.^^
Another unique thing about this game is the use of skill pills unlike most RPG's where you learn new skills only on a level-up. This feature along with skip boss fights (if you're not into fighting) completely eliminates the need to grind XD making it enjoyable for both hardcore gamers as well as the story oriented ones. Not to mention, the storyline is pretty intriguing, kept me hooked throughout. All in all, a dinstinctive and fun game.^^ Kudos to the new developer. |

This one had a huge potential to be one of my fav games so far...like I said had.
Spoilers ahead!!! There's no doubt that the characters and the graphics were awesome, the music as well...but sometimes beautiful graphics, interesting characters and lovely music are not enough for a game to be enjoyable. The summary said here about the story sounds pretty intriguing and that's why it got me interested ..but sadly it turned out to be boring casual RPG thing, especially the second part of the story...orbs? temples? what the hell? which of those things is original again? It seems to me that the developer wanted to make a perfect game and satisfy everyone's taste IMO...and here the thing got out of the hands I guess. I love the huge maps and dungeons but sometimes...or should I say most of the times they were pretty boring and without purpose ex. you can spin in circles to the extreme, wasting your time to come to a dead end, end well you must go all the way back spinning in the other direction to continue with the dungeon, this was terrible especially when the character's walking is laggy (you can change your walking options so it'll be faster, but still it'll be laggy). Same goes for the towns. There are huge and beautiful towns, but the interactions with the people are dull and boring, also there are only 1-3 side quests in a town and you can speak with almost everyone in it and visit almost every house...when we're going to add the boring "I cook dinner" dialogs I think you'll see my point about how painful the exploration was. All did I mention that there were no chests through the towns....I didn't finish the game cause I found it boring as hell, but through my playing I only found one chest in one town, I don't remember the name but it was the Venice of the game, the town built on water...a beautiful place indeed. The puzzles were pretty interesting and also I liked the skill pill learning techniques. I also liked the enemies and the good/evil fairy system. |
