Re: Blood Ties It's not bad, but it's a bit too straight-forward and the graphics are lacking. There are too many "blank areas" so the walks felt so terribly long, and most of the maps are the exact same thing used over and over that it just drives me crazy. It almost feels like a joke.
Oh, and the villain. I thought it's HILARIOUS that his name is "Gendall" and his ambition is to take over the world. I know vampires wanting to overthrow the humans is a pretty generic plot, but when said vampire's name sounds too much like "Gyendal"? It's just funny. |

Re: Blood Ties Did they give no way to change the options? The screen is so tiny it's giving me a headache and the music is annoying, I'd like to turn it off without having to mute my entire computer.
I wish now I hadn't bought it unplayed, but it looked like it would be fun because it looked very Ayevond-ish and it's not fun. It's just painful for me. |

 Re: Blood TiesFinished the game and I must say that it's as bad as the first game of this company. I mean, mapping were horrible and very linear, everytime you want to go to a place it appears a message saying ''I have no reason to go here'' making even more linear. Battles were so boring that we didn't need strategy, it's only using your most powerfull spells and done. Every end of dungeon they say something like ''I can feel something, get ready'' and you can always predict what will happen. Title theme music were the same of the first game, it was full with gramatical errors, I'm terrible at english but it really bothered me (If you're making a comercial game, hire a skilled proofreader or don't charge 20 dollars for a game) And the ending was ridiculous. Two characters that didn't had affection the entire game fall in love for each other. Arg, anyway I don't recomend buying this game.

Re: Blood Ties I played this game... I didn't get to finish it... I didn't like the maps, especially how the trees in the forest was covered by the bushes. I stopped at some lake...or river... I felt that all i did was fight and fight and i easily won them with one character's MP (Hit's all the enemies)... Wasn't as enjoyable as Ella's hope, Ahriman's prophecy, Lilly and Sasha series...
