The video is awesome, I love the graphic. Wonderful use of lights and maps. Lots people should take this as exemple when they make the graphic of their games (me too XD).

 Re: To the Moon
THIS is how these games should be made: fabulous production values, music, EXCELLENT story telling.
The game maker is one of the VERY FEW rpg maker game develoeprs who actually stands out from the sea of sameness.

This is an interactive visual novel. somewhat like the Blighted Venom series from the same developer- only without the frustrating battle sequences, lol

This is a phenmenal game. This is a game worth its value in money. There should be m0ore of such games in rpg maker games market- because so far it has bee very mediocre. But maybe fortunately because mediocirty lets gems like this simply shine.

Wonderful!

 Re: To the Moon
I'll try the demo...but I'm not sure I want to buy it yet. I'm sure it's a lovely game, but I tend to play these games to see action, adventure, etc. as much as story and if it's just a drama/romance I don't think I'll be interested.

Yeah, as I thought...the mapping is lovely, as is the music. The writing is good with only a few mistakes and the art is just great...but the game itself doesn't really appeal to me so I'll give this one a miss, thanks. Good luck in your future games.

 Re: To the Moon
I agree except that I liked it. I wouldn't call it a game, though. It does have some interactive elements and a few simple mini-games, but overall it's really an interactive story. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you're looking for battling, leveling up, bosses etc., To The Moon ain't it.

But To The Moon does have (how I feel, anyway) a lot more depth than your regular RPG. Don't get me wrong, I love RPGs, but they just don't get me as emotionally involved as an interactive story like this one does.

Oh, I love interactive novels too...it's really just the genre that doesn't appeal to me very much. It seems to be more of a biography-style game, learning about the character's life. That's fine I'm sure for some people, but drama/romance aren't really genres that interest me unless they're heavily mixed with some action, adventure, etc.

 Re: To the Moon
...

BLEW the trial period again--

Was playing the trial and someone came to the door. Forgot to shut down the game, while I was talking with my visitors, the game trial timed out and now I can't do anything in it until I buy it.

I wish more trials allowed you to get to a certain point in the game before making you buy, instead of being timed. This isn't the first time this has happened to me.

I did get to play enough of the trial to know I'll be buying the game, though. It looked interesting and VERY professionally done. Lots of attention to detail went into making this game. I hope it's as good all the way through. :-)

Bought the interactive story To The Moon and finished it in about four hours. It was a little short for the cost, but considering the outstanding quality if the graphics and music, well worth the price. The story was original if a little strange at times, but very heartwarming.

Someone called this a romance, but it is definitely not a romance. It's a love story (big difference from a romance) and it's told from a third-party retrospective perspective through the sci-fi medium of memory exploration. If that explanation is hard to follow, you'll understand if you play the demo.

Just make sure to save and shut off the demo if you step away from your computer, or the demo time may run out on you.

I was amazed to see the music is original and was apparently created for To The Moon. It's really good.

This game is Amazing, it's tear jerking and painfully sad yet the dialogue is hilarious and brilliantly written.  Beautiful, Moving, Clever.
The trailer for this game and the concept seemed pretty intriguing, so I decided to try it out. I was immediately struck by how well the music flowed with the story, and that it was all original. The story line allows the gamer, or audience, to feel for the characters and care immensely about what is happening to them. The dialogue between the two doctors is witty and you catch yourself laughing at the two, while simultaneously crying because of what is taking place in front of them.

As the story progresses, questions from the beginning are answered, but more are raised, leaving me wanting more up until the very end. The plot twists make the game unpredictable, and I didn't stop playing until I'd finished it. It is philosophical and symbolic, and definitely gives you some things to think about, including the concepts of life and death, and past regrets. I absolutely loved this game, I am so glad I purchased it, and I highly recommend it.

 Re: To the Moon
I am very picky in my games, in fact, there are few games that even manage to get into my "like" category.
However, this game, was just outstanding. The concept was nothing like the stereotypical RPG, it combined the RPG genre with the vuisual novel, creating a very intresting mix.
The story actually made me cry, it's beautifull, well written, and you just live with the characters. The music was outright beautifull, as were the graphics. I can see a lot of wok that has been done int the making of a graphic that only is used in one scene, proving how much the developpers cared for quality.

Some minor points in my opinion were that some options were available in the start of the game, but no longer implemented afterwards (likre putting the light on and off, even if it has no influence on the story). Also, there could be a little bit more diversity in the gameplay, because you only had the minigame and the clue finding, and there wasn't really much more to do.

But in overall, oneof the better games i have seen around, definatly!

 Re: To the Moon
this is not a game, it's rather a story, you got not very much to do, just to read in 90% of game time.
the plot isn't as sophisticated as as i thought, it could be more knotted- for example that one of scientist is regullary deleting a memory of his/her collegue & it causes a member traver in another person's member travel. cool.
the ending was also "so-so". when scintists couldn't change Johnny's wish then its obvious that becouse of Love (which in such a game should be seen as the uppest power) i really dislike this episode with NASA.
PLUSES!
+perfect light playing
game climate (apart from nasa!)
"to the river" melody which i loved
main hero is Johnny as i am.

sorry for my english i'm from Poland.

If I get any money for my birthday, I am DEFINITELY buying this. The demo alone made me CRY. It's so moody, so emotional. I felt like screaming my head off when my hour was up, I wwas that into the story.

 Re: To the Moon
I finally finished the game about 1:30 last night and it kept me up almost all night because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Very rarely has a game actually MOVED me like this one did. Whatever it lacks in interaction it more than makes up for in storytelling and originality. It's a downright beautiful game with a good taste of humor as well.

Well I finally got it and I COULD NOT stop playing it. The story just pulls you in. This isn't a game about battles and adventuring, but about the many complexities of a single human life. As much as I love adventuring, I'd love to see more RPGs like this one.

One of the best RPG games I ever played! I loved everything... I mean everything!!! I can't really pinpoint the negativity inside the game. It was just so perfectly made!!! If you are reading this and you haven't played the game, trust me, you'll never regret playing this!!!
