I am very frustrated. How do I find the lockpick for the jewelery box in Hag's Gate Manor and how to get through the door that is sealed. I have checked every wall and every person, barrell, box in every screen. Am frustrated and may have to quit the game even though I bought it. Any help will be appreciated.

I enjoyed the game.After build 8 I was able to finish and now we are on build 9 so I will play it again to see what has changed from the very early version that I started with. The game appears to have good replay value but for $19.99 I expect the game to last longer than 15 hours of play. I look forward to the sequal and would hope that either the game is made longer or is made less expensive.

As we've been experiencing together, it's clear that the game has come out with many bugs that shouldn't be there. What happened is that we hired a new Eventer and he was working on the game' scenes and everything. Myself, bodeia and D-Squall have tested the game during it's development and afterwards, and while doing that we all reported the bugs to the Eventer. Unfortunately it seems he overlooked many of the bugs we already reported, I don't know why... I haven't seen him since... he must have taken the week off.

So, what I want to say is that this is being as frustrating to me as it is being to you, Freedom Cry was developed with a lot of care, I wrote it, designed it, invested on it and I see people complaining about the bugs now, and that pains me, I know the game has potential, so if you could please be reasonable with me and give us all another chance you will see that the game will live up to it's potential.

I have been playing the game myself again, and so is bodeia, and along with everything everyone is reporting I'm sure that the game will be ultra clean in no time. And to make up for everyone, we will work on a Gold Edition for the game, which will include many more side-quests with true content along with an extra playthrough following another character's quest. Those who already purchased the game will be able to play the Gold Edition without having to pay again, obviously.

Again, I am truly sorry about all this, it was never my intenttion to release a game before it's time and use my faithful customers as beta-testers, something wrong happened here, we will find out what and we will handle it accordingly.

Is the bug-fixed version of this game out yet? I'm waiting to buy it until I know the bugs are taken care of.

Well i cannot even download the game because of IE not recognizing and saying it's too dangerous for my computer o.O

I hated the graphics. It looked really weird.

well, i think it's my time to post a review about the game!!
First of all i want to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to the creators of this game! i think it is the company's best i've ever played sofar.. i don't say that i liked everything in it but in general i enjoyed the play!!
Story: the story was good enough and got the players' interest. the different choices you could select is a very good reason for replaying. i give the story 82/100
Graphics: wow! what can i say? the graphics in this game were just amazing. i liked the world map the most!! it was something completely different. also the characters' faces were in a surprising way the most appropriate you could use. they expressed their personalities very well! the big city was another good thing in the game.. i really like big cities but i would like it more if there were more people in the shops and houses but maybe that will be considered in the sequel.. anyway, i give 94/100 for the graphics!
Sidequests: i must admit that there were many sidequests in the game, most of them at the beggining.. i liked them all! but i have to say something.. there is a bug related with the sidequest about finding three scrolls. i actually found all of them but that wasn't accepted by the man who gave me the quest. anyway.. i also liked the journal even though some quests weren't in it.. i give 80/100 for the sidequests. i'd give it more if the bug wasn't there..
Music: nothing to say here.. nothing new to hear, except from the music in the big city.. in the other areas the music was like the same classic music which is used in other games too. i don't say that i don't like it, but i suggest you use different music in the sequel.. keep some tracks but not all of them.. i give music 74/100
Battles: i think here is my problem. i understand that the bad guys were these purple-cloacked men but it was kinda boring having to fight the same enemies over and over again.. The battles were also easy enough since the enemies most of the times missed the chance to harm you.. even the last battle was easy for me.. i would prefer some more challenging fights in sequel.. one thing i liked was the fact that you could reach up to level 30.. this way i knew that i didn't have to fight more enemies to level up.. i give 69/100 for the battles.
Special things: the lockpicks for example was something challenging for me since i couldn't find enough so i could go on with the game! i really liked the idea. the decoration of your first house was onother special thing in the game.. also the fact that some sidequests could only be accessable specific days and times was something i liked.. i give 87/100 for the special things.
