A-M-A-Z-I-N-G GAME!!!!!!!!

We had to wait a while, some more patiently than the others, but here it is! Leah's Tale is out and I've just completed it. I'll start by saying that unlike others Leah was not my favourite character in Ella's Hope, and (yes, I do admit) that I would have rather seen something about Areth or Sakari, but nevertheless there was enough mystery about this girl and honestly I'd play any game made by Eri xD

So now the review:

Story: I loved the story. It was great and engaging. The characters were all very likeable. It was also a nice way to learn a bit more about Estis and of course about Leah's past. The story this time seems to be more forward (and clear) than in your previous games, which is great. I loved the different type of settlements, such as the Squid City, the Mermaid Village, the Troll Village, the desert farm town, etc. I don't think I've ever seen such types of towns before, so that was very refreshing. I was kind of sad that I couldn't find Areth or maybe even a mentioning of her in the Fairy Village. It was nice to see some of the community members. (Yes, we weren't frogs this time! )

Graphics: Well, I love skyzen's art so there's absolutely not a bad thing to say about it. Maps are great (I just love the AV2 tilesets ). And now the sprites... I must admit that the first ten minutes of the game I got irritated at seeing Leah's family, Ruthie and some other sprites. They seem to have been made with that sprite generator. Now there's nothing wrong with that, as it's an easy tool, but it makes their faces differ from the other sprites. Those sprites (from the generator) have no shading on the edge of their face and such things makes my eyes cry. It can easily be fixed, so I'm wondering why it wasn't. Specially since these people are close to the main and therefore important. That's a real shame, considering all the great and amazing sprites you can meet through the rest of the game... All in all, the graphics are great though. I can see lots of work was put in it.

Music: I loved the Music. I listened to it the whole time (yes, I'm proud of that ). I found it a shame the Water Plains and the Ailin Outer Caves did not have any music, but only a sound effect. It got on my nerves after a while. The end part of the music in Leah's Dream hurt my head a bit, but other than that: I loved it ^^

Gameplay: I played Story Mode, so I won't be talking about the battles as they were easy. Although the Story Mode here seems to differ from Ella's Hope Story Mode, as I remember I leveled up a lot during Ella's Hope, while in Leah's Tale I leveled up once. Not that it was needed, I'm just noting the Story Mode has been changed a little. Quests and sidequests are fun. I missed a few, so I'll be replaying again soon. The Gold Nuggets seem to be the new Sky Orbs, with the exception that you now know how much Gold Nuggets there should be per chapter as a dwarf is asking for it. Some of those were still hidden very well, so I missed one of them. The treasure hunting bit was fun, though I only found two treasures.

I greatly enjoyed Leah's Tale and was soooo excited by the story and well everything, that I played it in one go. I'm looking forward to ___'s Quest, whoever it might be about. (Maybe Tesla, as she is still as mysterious as ever.) (Although I'd be happy to see Sakari and Areth as well)
