Review: Kane's Advocacy
Loads of fun while it lasts, but it's a fairly short game.
It had more replayability than most games because there are different ways to play it. However, even with replaying until it gets monotonous, it's still a little on the short side.
Still, the price isn't bad. I would prefer to see it at $9.99 or even $7.99, but twelve bucks isn't really unreasonable because it's so much fun while it lasts.
I rated it seven of ten stars: Definitely worth buying.
--Really interesting and different story from the usual RPG
--High production value; no bugs or typos detected
--No random monster encounters, this game focuses more on interesting story-based quests rather than fighting and leveling
--Interesting point assignment system which is very different but also very easy to understand
--Commentary system that can be turned on (I thought the comments were overall not all that interesting, but still it added a dimension to the game and I consider it a plus to peek inside the mind of the developer
--Twenty save slots!
--Very straightforward, with plenty of reminders in case you forget where something in the game is
--The author of the game tries to have the plot make as much sense as possible
--Walking is slow without dash, no auto-dash
--Price a little high for the amount of play time the game offers
