A street thief steals the wrong heirloom and finds herself on the run from a powerful vampire mage.

In fulfillment of prophecy, the evil sorcerer, Mordred Darkthrop, initiated a series of actions that would eventually see him rule the world. Darkthrop’s reign of tyranny and his lineage ended abruptly, when he and his only son died moments before his goal was realized.
The prophecy, however, lingered on.

Two hundred years later, young Mel, a common street thief, is about to have her life turned upside down, as another stands determined to succeed where Darkthrop failed, and to see the prophecy to its fulfillment.

Solve dozens of adventure puzzles and explore an enchanting world. Lord of Twilight is packed with monsters, magic, and humor. Race from an evil vampire lord, intent on plunging the world into darkness and enslaving humanity. Gather a colorful group of companions and set out together on a quest to thwart his plans. Traverse a vast, snowy wilderness, rugged mountain ranges, and get a glimpse into the Underworld on your adventure.

Well, I'm not satisfied with this one.
Aveyond and Witchwood was the only places I enjoyed exploring and Stella, Te'ijal and Galahad are only characters I liked in this game.
I'm still not sure will I play Gates of Night at all.

Really great game! I like all the sidquests, the storyline, the characters . . . etc. I would tell you to get this game before any other RPGs (other than Aveyond 1 + 2).
It's interesting, funny, entertaining and totally awesome! If you get 1 thing out of this comment, it's that you should GET IT NOW!

A great game and I fell in love with it as soon as I starting playing.

I recommend you play the games in order. The order is:
Ahriman's Phropecy, Aveyond 1: Rhen's quest, Aveyond 2: Ean's Quest, Aveyond 3.1: Lord of Twilight, Aveyond 3.2: Gates of Night, Aveyond 3.3: The lost orb and Aveyond 3.4: The Darkthrop Prophecy.

These games are soo much fun!
I like how they're in Chapters, and full of quests, regardless of if it isn't finished (the series, I mean). This game is awesome, and worth the money.

I'm glad to have played the this first chapter of Mels story. If I didn't play it, i'm sure I wouldn't be here playing the other aveyond series! This game gives you the sudden urge to carry on playing the other Aveyond series. Overall, I would say, this game is fantastic. I recommend this!

when i first time played this,ive been trouble cause just like in rhen's quest nowhere to do to complete the quest so i level up in some monsters but when i try to put the card in merchant road for first time it cant open so this is the reason why i level up so fast and the second try it open! I really like that all the Aveyond games are connected. Like Te'ijal is in all of the games. (well maybe not in Ahrimans Prophecy, I don't know because I haven't played that one.) In Rhen's Quest she bites Galahad, then in Ian's Quest you meet them in the underwold, then Mel is saved by Te'ijal. I dont know maybe Im crazy but, I just really liked the connection!!

The game was good, the graphic are great and the character were very interesting.
but, this part of game was too short . if you use all the goody cave, you can finish this game less than 3 hours, and even if you dont use the goody cave you could finish it not more than 6 hours.
very disappointing . but still, the game was great.

I liked this one a lot, seeing Te'igal and Galahad in the game again from Rhen's Quest was great. The game was pretty easy and fun, and it goes into a sequel so there's more to be excited about what happens next
