A trainee spy races from a powerful vampire mage, in a bid to stop the world being plunged into eternal darkness.

Before his untimely death two hundred years ago, the evil sorcerer, Mordred Darkthrop, created two opposing magical orbs - the Orb of Darkness, and the Orb of Light.

Unwittingly stolen by Mel, a young thief, and placed into the hands of Gyendal, a vampire who calls himself the Lord of Twilight, the Orb of Darkness is about to be used to plunge mankind into eternal night and slavery. Mel, a descendant of Darkthrop, is the only one who can activate the orb. She is also the only one able to stop the Lord of Twilight's evil plan.

And I didn't liked Lord of Twilight but I still played Gates of Night because of the Te'ijal ... I was wrong, this game is pretty cool. Not so cool as Aveyond: Rhen's Quest (the best!) or Aveyond: Ean's Quest, but I guess I can say that I enjoyed this one as well. I really liked Lydia! But the end is lame: it's ok for Stella to die, but Te'ijal become mortal??!! Soooo uncool! I don't like this at all! Anyway, I'm going to play The Lost Orb and okay ... yes Gates of Night was worth playing, I must admit that.

I like that what you did in Lord of Twilight (if you played it first and saved your game) continues in GoN. I would recomend playing LoT first before this awesome RPG. My main point is that I want you to try it, or even better, buy it! You won't be disapointed at all!
